San Jose, Calif. – San José State University Athletics announces the launch of One Spartan Nation, a unified fundraising, ticket sales and sponsorship platform focused upon uniting Spartan Nation to provide championship resources that positively impact the lives of Spartan student-athletes. One Spartan Nation was established upon three pillars: 1) unite Spartan Nation, 2) build sustainable success, and 3) transform Spartan Athletics through transformational investments.
UNITE Spartan Nation
The primary purpose of One Spartan Nation is to unite Spartan alumni and friends to transform the lives of student-athletes through the Spartan Athletics Scholarship Fund. Our long-term objective is to grow One Spartan Nation membership support to fund the annual $7.2 million cost of Spartan student-athlete scholarships.
In a significant adjustment from the past, donors that contribute to any sport improvement fund or athletic fund will also qualify for One Spartan Nation membership. Additionally, football season ticket holders and corporate sponsors will be recognized as Associate Members of One Spartan Nation. The intent of this adjustment is to show recognition and appreciation to all members that support San José State Athletics.
All One Spartan Nation members will have access to exclusive benefits such as football game day hospitality and opportunities to engage with student-athletes and coaches. Additional benefits (such as complimentary football game day parking) will be available to members who direct their giving to areas of greatest need such as the Scholarship Fund and Unrestricted Gifts to Athletics.
Members who have football season tickets in One Spartan Nation Seating (Sections 109-113) will receive credit towards their benefits that includes access to season parking.
BUILD Sustainable Success
After thorough review of fundraising operations, One Spartan Nation will implement many principles of the original Spartan Foundation, address deficiencies, and modernize processes to ensure that donor intent is honored. Through this process, all membership gifts will be processed through the SJSU Tower Foundation in partnership with the Department of Athletics. This partnership will ensure honoring donor intent of gift processing coupled with the understanding of the nuances of a vibrant Division I Football Bowl Subdivision Athletic Department.
Spartan Athletics strives to demonstrate the impact of One Spartan Nation membership while providing excellent service and updates to members. To continue to serve One Spartan Nation members, OneSpartanNation.com will provide information about events and ways to be involved. Social media, email, and occasional postal mail will also be used to keep members informed.

Spartan Athletics is committed to building a sustainable, championship level program in the Mountain West. Building a strong future for Spartan student-athletes is essential through constructing state-of-the-art facilities and growing future investments through planned giving.
One Spartan Nation provides opportunities for members to make a lasting legacy on Spartan student-athletes through facility gifts (such as the Spartan Athletics Center), endowment gifts, and estate gifts. Members who invest beyond their annual membership gift will be invited to become a part of unique giving societies that enrich their engagement with University leadership, coaches, and student-athletes.

This ticket credit is counted toward your Tickets & Parking benefits for One Spartan Nation. For Season Ticket Holders with seats in One Spartan Nation Seating, the credit amount is listed in your ticket renewal letter and can also be found at OneSpartanNation.com.
Q: My tickets have a One Spartan Nation Seating Ticket Credit – what benefits do I get?
A: Football season ticket holders with One Spartan Nation Seating will receive credit toward One Spartan Nation benefits. Each section has differing credit values and are listed on OneSpartanNation.com.
For example, a season ticket with a $250 Ticket Credit gives you $250 toward your benefits and qualifies you for a single-stall parking pass in Lot 2 during football season.
Q: In the past I have purchased my parking - how can I get parking now?
A: Through a combination of giving through the Scholarship Fund, unrestricted giving, and ticket credits, One Spartan Nation members can receive a complimentary parking pass in Lots 1 or 2 for football. Parking for sports on Main Campus is currently under review due to restrictions related to COVID-19.
Q:My season ticket doesn't have Seating Ticket Credit – how can I get parking?
