SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose State freshman women's soccer player Evan House has been named to the 2021 Spring Women's Soccer Mountain West All-Newcomer Team. The conference made the announcement on Thursday.
House, who transferred from Long Beach State prior to the start of the season, led the Spartans with three points during the abbreviated spring season. She scored her first career goal in the opener vs. Fresno State and was also the catalyst behind SJSU's game-winning goal against Nevada with an assist to Cynthia Flores, who scored the lone goal in a 1-0 victory.
A native of Visalia, Calif., House also led the team in shots (14) and shots on goal (9) while starting six of nine matches.
