Women's Basketball Promotes Arielle Wideman To Recruiting Coordinator

San José, Calif. - Arielle Wideman has been promoted to the program's recruiting coordinator ahead of her fourth season on staff at San José State. The announcement was made Wednesday by head coach Jamie Craighead.

Wideman will lead the program's recruiting efforts moving forward in her new role.

"Coach Ari has earned this title promotion as she has proven herself to me to be one of the best recruiters I have worked with and she will do a great job managing our recruiting efforts," says Craighead. "Ari is innovative and adaptable in her approach to recruiting. I am excited to have her take on this vital role on our coaching staff and I know that she will do an amazing job."

Wideman has served as an assistant coach under Craighead in the past three seasons, primarily working with the team's point guards and contributing to opponents scouting.

Off the court, she has helped lead the program's community outreach efforts and served as academic coordinator.
