Pardon - He Now Is A Two-Time Honorable Mention All-America

Bridgeport, Pa.----- For the second time in his career, San Jose State University men's water polo center Finn Pardon was named an honorable mention All-America player by the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC).

A 2020-21 first-team All-Golden Coast Conference honoree, Pardon led the Spartans and was fourth in the conference in scoring with 21 goals in eight games. He scored in seven of those contests and matched his single-game career high of five goals in the season opener against #5-Pepperdine.

Pardon also was tops on the #8-nationally ranked San Jose State team in drawn exclusions with 33, more than twice by the next Spartan with 13, and in field blocks with three. He also was second in steals with nine.

"Being with us for four years and how much he's improved, he (Finn) is playing his best water polo (now). He belongs with all the best players in the (college) game," said San Jose State University men's water polo head coach Bruce Watson.

Pardon was named an honorable mention All-America in 2019 after scoring 51 goals in 27 matches.
