San José State women's golfer Kajsa Arwefjäll begins play at the 2021 NCAA Women's Golf Championships on Friday, May 21, with a 12:25 p.m. tee time off of the first tee at the Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Arwefjäll will play alongside Hanna Alberto from Sam Houston State and Lauren Hartlage of Louisville for the first two rounds of the championship. The threesome will start the second round on Saturday at 7:25 a.m. off of the 10th tee. Third round tee times for Sunday will be based on two-round results.
Arwefjäll advanced to the NCAA Championship after shooting a three-under 210 at the NCAA Stanford Regional to finish in fifth place. She enters the weekend ranked 44th in Golfstat and 172 on the WAGR. She has finished in the top-10 in seven of the eight tournaments played this spring.
She is the third individual Spartan to qualify for the NCAA Championships. The Spartans have participated as a team in 21 national championships.
