Clemson University and the University of Louisville received the gold and silver awards, respectively, in the same category.

Ryan O'Rorke, associate athletics director for marketing, digital media, and licensing, was largely responsible for the creation and production of the video with assistance from Cam Radford, San Jose State University's director of football digital communications; Joshua Moon, promotions and fan experience coordinator; and student assistants R.J. Garcia and Matt Murphy, who all collaborated on the video elements for the widely popular tweet cherishing the Spartans' championship experience.

Awards were announced in 16 categories.
