The San José State women's golf team begins the 2021-22 season this Monday and Tuesday as part of the 16-team field at the Branch Law Firm/Dick McGuire Invitational hosted at The Championship Course at the University of New Mexico.
The team will play 36 holes Monday and 18 holes on Tuesday. The team begins the first round with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. MT. SJSU will start on holes 6-9, with San Diego State and California.

•The Spartan lineup features two All-Americans – Kajsa Arwefjäll & Natasha Andrea Oon. Arwefjäll was a 2021 honorable mention honoree after finishing tied for 36th at the NCAA Championships. Oon was a second team honoree in 2019 and an honorable mention selection in 2020.
•Lopez Ortega joins the Spartans after representing Spain at the European Team Championship. She tied for 39th at the European Ladies Amateur Championship.
•Arwefjäll and Malate were first team All-Mountain West honorees last season.
•Six Mountain West schools are playing at the tournament – Colorado State, Fresno State, New Mexico, San José State, San Diego State and UNLV.
