•The Spartans rank fifth nationally in aces per set at 2.24, and 40th in total aces with 76. Four Spartans have 10+ aces – Haylee Nelson, 17; Mia Schafer, 15; Amethyst Harper, 12; and Yazmin Pitpit, 10.

•Mia Schafer, running the Spartan offense, ranks among the best in the country as she is 13th nationally in assists per set at 11.11. The Spartans rank 39th nationally in assists per set.

•Latahevai Lousi became the 15th player in school history to record 1,000 career kills at San José State last week. She recorded her 1,000th kill in the 3-0 win over San Francisco and begins this week with 1,017 kills, and needs just 29 more to move into 14th place with Melissa Myers.

•The next 1,000 countdown moves to Sarah Smevog who begins the week with 935 digs in her three-plus years as a Spartan. When she reaches 1,000 career digs, Smevog will be the ninth player in school history to reach the milestone.
