• The Spartans enter the MPSF Invitational with their first winning streak of the season after defeating Redlands and No. 14 Santa Clara on the final day of the UC Davis Aggie RoundUp on September 19.

• San Jose State remained No. 11 in the September 22 Collegiate Water Polo Association national poll

• Mark Kis is tied for seventh in the Golden Coast Conference for goals scored with 17.

• Bende Pardi is third in the conference in field blocks with five.

* Niels Hofmeijer continues as the top sprinter in the conference with 30 sprint wins; nearly three times the number of the next two closest players in the conference with 11 each. Hofmeijer, the team leader in steals with 12, is third in the GCC.

• Goalkeeper Yahav Fire leads the GCC in saves with 101 and is fourth in save percentage stopping 52.3 percent of the shots he has faced.
