San José State Extends Partnership with Provident Credit Union

SAN JOSE, Calif. – San José State Athletics and Provident Credit Union are pleased to announce a multi-year agreement that will extend through 2029. Provident will be contributing $8.4 million dollars through this partnership, in conjunction with the previous Events Center sponsorship. Provident Credit Union, rated the top credit union in California by Forbes Magazine in 2021, has the naming rights of the Events Center that includes building and on-court signage and is proud to be the official Credit Union for San José State Athletics as well as a Credit Union partner for SJSU faculty, staff, students and alumni.

"This is instrumental as we provide a cutting-edge experience for our student-athletes and promote an environment that builds champions in the classroom, in competition, and in the community."

The Sponsorship
•         A 10-year Event Center naming rights sponsorship of $8.1 million through 2029
•         A three-year sponsorship with San José State Athletics Department for over $300,000 through 2024
•         Additional marketing assets inside the Events Center, including on-court logo
•         Presenting sponsor for both the men's and women's basketball team for the season
•         Working with Beyond Sparta program to provide education to student-athletes about financial literacy and management
•         SJSU faculty, staff, students and alumni receive a 0.125% mortgage and auto loan rate discount
