SAN JOSE, Calif. – To celebrate the start of a new season, San José State will welcome fans back to the Provident Credit Union Event Center for A Night With Spartan Basketball on Oct. 27.
Both basketball teams will be in action at 7:00 p.m. and admission is free to the public. The night will include scrimmages, skill competitions and giveaways as both the men's and women's programs are introduced to Spartan Nation for the first time this year.
Free pizza will be available for the first 500 students in attendance. All fans will be eligible to win gift cards to the Spartan Bookstore throughout the event.
In addition to the basketball programming, a special edition of the Coach Brennan Show will take place on the same night at the Event Center. The show will begin at 6:00 p.m. and admission will be free as well.

Tim Miles is entering his first year at the helm of the Spartan men's program. The team will open the Miles era on Nov. 11 against Cal State Fullerton at the Event Center.
The 2021-22 campaign will mark Jamie Craighead's ninth as head coach of the San José State women's team. The Spartans tip-off the season on Nov. 9 at Washington State and will host their home opener on Nov. 17 against Santa Clara.
