SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Albuquerque, N.M. for the Mountain West Cross Country Championships this Friday on the UNM North Golf Course. The men's race will start at 9:15 a.m. PT and the women's race kicks off at 10 a.m. PT.
- Daniela Salazar ran a personal-best time of 21:31.1 in the 6K at the Bronco Invitational
- Omar Pina clocked a lifetime-best mark of 25:46.7 in the men's 8K at the Bronco Invitational
- There are five nationally-ranked teams competing in the Mountain West Championships
- No. 1 New Mexico has won 13 consecutive conference championships on the women's side
- Air Force is seeking its second straight league title
