- Rudi Castro scored another highlight goal in the WAC Championship tournament in the 76th minute and David Sweeney made seven saves to lead No. 4 seed San José State (10-7-3) in a 4-1 defeat to No. 25 Grand Canyon (15-3) on Friday night at GCU Stadium in the WAC Championship semifinals. GCU scored three goals in the final 15 minutes to create separation and advance to the WAC Championship game.
