STANFORD, Calif. - Omari Moore scored a career-high 21 points and Tibet Gorener finished with a career-best 14 points to lead San José State (1-1) in a tough road loss to Stanford (2-1), 76-62, on Monday night inside Maples Pavilion. The Spartans led 38-29 at the half, but shot 29 percent (6-for-21) in the second half and were outscored 52-28 in the paint for the game.
Shon Robinson was the final SJSU player in double figures, tallying 10 points to reach double figures for the second straight game. Ibrahima Diallo grabbed a career-best nine rebounds before fouling out with just over five minutes remaining.
