Spartans With More Top-10 Times, Career Bests at Mizzou Invite

COLUMBIA, Mo.—Four more Spartan swimmers posted career-best times as the San José State women's swimming and diving team finished the second day of action at the Mizzou Invite at the Mizzou Aquatics Center.
 

  • Hannah Dettmann started the night for the Spartans swimming a career-best 59.19 in the 100 butterfly.
  • In the 200 free, Zsófia Muzsnay swam a season-best 1:49.21, the fifth-fastest time in school history.
  • Réka Kovács followed Muzsnay by swimming the 10th-fastest time Spartan time in the 200 free at 1:49.98
  • Ally Chislett couldn't be outdone either in the 200 free with the best time of her career at 1:53.79.
  • Ela Freiman finished sixth in the 400 individual medley at 4:29.71, followed by Ida Due at 11th at 4:36.16, and Chloe Limargo 12th at 4:39.11.
  • Cali Rowland was ninth in the 100 breaststroke at 1:03.65, with Izzie Fraire 12th at 1:04.39 and Limargo 13th at 1:04.45.

 
The final day of swims at the Mizzou Invite begins Friday at 9:30 a.m. CT/7:30 a.m. PT, followed by finals at 5:30 p.m. CT/3:30 p.m. PT.
