AUSTIN, Texas – Tibet Görener went a career-high 4-of-5 from three for a team leading 12 points to lead San José State (1-3) in a 79-45 loss at No. 8 Texas (3-1) from the Frank Erwin Center Saturday afternoon part of the Abe Lemons Classic.
- Omari Moore returned for the Spartans after missing last game and had five points including his first three of the season in 23 minutes of work
- Josh O'Garro had a career-high 11 points and first time in double figures
- Spartans went on an 11-8 run to start the second half
- Ibrahima Diallo added seven boards and two blocks
- A season-high 10 Spartans played
