SAN JOSE, Calif. -  San José State women's basketball wraps up it's first home stand of the season on Wednesday evening against the Academy of Art. Action will kick off in the Provident Credit Union Event Center at 6:00 p.m. and will be available to watch live on the Mountain West Network. 

The game is a part of San José State Athletics' Season of Giving Event. Fans get a FREE ticket if they bring canned goods to donate at the entrance.

  • San José State leads the Mountain West in free throw percentage, shooting .823 from the charity stripe
  • Cydni Lewis's 9.4 rebounds per game is good for third in the conference and she leads the league in defensive rebounds
  • Lewis currently leads the Spartans in scoring with 12.6 ppg and rebounding

  • The Spartans had an impressive 20 assists on 24 field goals
  • Ella Ogier recorded her first double double of the season, tallying 14 points, 10 rebounds adding three assists and five steals

  • Head Coach Krystle Evans was made head coach in April 2019 and is in her second full season at the hel
