5-5, 3-3 Mountain West. The Spartans' two-game winning streak ended on November 6 in a 27-24 loss at Nevada.

Utah State record: 7-2, 4-1 Mountain West. The Aggies have a season-long four-game winning streak after defeating New Mexico State, 35-13, in a non-conference game on November 6.

Play-by-Play Radio Coverage: KTRB (860 AM, San Francisco) will broadcast the Utah State game. Justin Allegri calls the play-by-play. Kevin Richardson provides commentary. The Utah State broadcast begins at 7:00 p.m. (PT) with a pregame show. The broadcast also is available on the Varsity Network app.

KSJS (90.5 FM, San Jose) also will broadcast the San Jose State-Utah State game starting at 7:15 p.m. (PT).

Television:  FS1 will televise  the Utah State game.  The Utah State telecast begins at 7:30 p.m. (PT).

FS1 is available in Northern California on Comcast Cable Channel 408, DirecTV Channel 219, and DISH Network Channel 150.

Series history: San José State leads the series, 20-18-1. Utah State has wins in the last eight meetings between these teams dating back to 2009. The Aggies won the most recent between these teams, 42-14, in Romney Stadium during the 2018 season.
Utah State has a four-game winning streak over the Spartans in San Jose since 2010.
San Jose State's last win over Utah State was a 30-10 triumph in 2008 and was the Spartans' third consecutive victory over the Aggies dating back to 2006.

27 again: For the third consecutive game, the winner of San José State's football game scored 27 points. Nevada was the most recent in a 27-24 victory over the Spartans. San Jose State posted wins of 27-20 over UNLV, and 27-21, the next weekend over Wyoming.

Close calls: The Nevada game marked the sixth time this season San Jose State played a game decided by seven or fewer points. The Spartans are 4-2 in these games with victories at Hawai'i, 17-13; New Mexico State, 37-31; at UNLV, 27-20; and Wyoming, 27-21; and losses to San Diego State, 19-13 in overtime, and Nevada, 27-24, respectively.
