SAN JOSE, Calif. - The fourth-seeded San José State men's soccer team (9-6-3, 7-2-2) will take on No. 5 seed Utah Valley (9-5-2, 6-4) in the quarterfinals of the WAC Championship on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. PT at GCU Stadium in Phoenix, Ariz. The Spartans defeated Utah Valley, 1-0, at Clyde Field in Orem, Utah on Oct. 7.

- The Spartans finished undefeated in the month of October (7-0-2), including a 2-1 win over then-No. 10 Grand Canyon in San Jose, Calif.
- During its nine-game unbeaten streak, SJSU scored 13 goals and only allowed five
- On April 13, 2021, the Spartans dropped a 4-3 shootout to Air Force in the quarterfinal round of the WAC Championship
