SAN JOSE, Calif. – Trey Anderson had a career-high 23 points and five 3-pointers to lead San José State (5-4) in a 78-66 win against Pacific (4-6) from the Provident Credit Union Event Center Saturday afternoon for their fifth straight home victory to start the season.
After the Tigers scored the first basket of the game, the Spartans never looked back and led the rest of the game.

- The Spartans are 5-0 at home to start the season for the first time since the 1999-2000 season when they started 6-0 at the Event Center
- The five wins ties last seasons win total
- SJSU now has two double-digit wins on the season
- The 78 points the Spartans scored are the most they've scored since the first game of the season
- Omari Moore had a team high six assists with four steals and 18 points
- Tibet Gorener was 3-for-5 from deep, totaling 13 points, one shy of matching his career high
- Anderson chipped in with seven rebounds
- The Spartans shot 43.6 percent from the field, 41.4 percent from three and 85.7 percent from the free throw line
The Spartans next home game is Dec. 21 vs. Santa Clara at 7 p.m. and tickets can be purchased here, plus kids 12 and under receive a complimentary ticket.
