SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's basketball team (5-4, 0-0 Mountain West) will head to Portland (8-4, 0-0 WCC) on Friday at 6 p.m. inside the Chiles Center in Portland, Ore. The game will be streamed on the WCC Network and heard on the Varsity Network Mobile App.
- The Spartans and Pilots haven't played in over two years and it's the Spartans first trip to Portland since 2017
- The Spartans are 5-0 at home for the first time since the 1999-2000 season when they started 6-0 at home
- SJSU has won four of their last five games overall
- SJSU's five wins this season tied last season's wins total and is two behind the 2019-20 team
- Trey Anderson led the charge in the Spartans 78-66 win over Pacific (12/11). Anderson had a career-high 23 points with five 3-pointers in the victory
- The Spartans had their first 25 or more points Division I victory against North Dakota (12/3) in a 76-51 win since February 27, 2010 when they defeated Fresno State at home, 72-45 (h/t Rocco Miller)
- The Spartans 28 point lead against North Dakota was their biggest lead of the season and their 25 point win was their first double-digit win of the season. The 49 second half points were also the most the Spartans have scored in a half this season
