PORTLAND, Ore.
 – Trey Smith had a career-high 24 points and eight 3-pointers to lead San José State (6-4) in a 90-78 win at Portland (8-5) from the Chiles Center Friday evening for their first road win of the season.

  • Smith ties Noah Baumann's team record (2019) with eight 3-pointers in a game
  • It is the fifth game this season the Spartans have 10 or more 3-pointers in a game

  • It is the Spartans fifth win in their last six games
  • The six wins this season by the Spartans are more than last season's team and one behind the 2019-20 team
  • SJSU had a season-high six in double figures and two with double-doubles
  • The 90 points are the most the Spartans have scored in a game this season
  • Trey Anderson had 15 points with a career-high 12 rebounds for his first career double-double
