SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's basketball team (3-7, 0-0 Mountain West) will host UC Santa Barbara (5-3, 0-0 Big West) on Tuesday at 4 p.m. inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center part of a doubleheader with the Spartans men's basketball team. The men will host Santa Clara following the women's contest at 7 p.m.
The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network. Tickets for the game can be purchased here and kids 12 and under will receive a complimentary ticket, plus $2 beers will be available and bring a toy to receive discounted admission. One ticket is good for both games.

- Cydni Lewis recorded her third 20+ point performance in last Wednesday night's game vs. UC Irvine. The senior led all scorers with 22 points and added seven rebounds
- Lewis leads the team in scoring (13 ppg) and rebounding (7.2 rpg)

Scouting Report: The Gauchos
- Center Ila Lane is leading UC Santa Barbara in scoring and rebounding, nearly averaging a double double with 12.1 points per game and 9.9 rebounds
- Lane is averaging 56.3-percent from the field
- Alexis Tucker is also averaging double figure scoring, adding 10.9 ppg
- Head Coach Bonnie Henrickson is in her fifth season at the helm
The History
UC Santa Barbara leads the all-time series 19-8. The Spartans took the victory the last time the two teams battled in the 2019-20 season. San José State overcame an early 9-0 decificit, rallying to earn their first road victory of the season in a 73-7 thriller.

New Covid Entry Policy:
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
Mask Policy:
- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
