SAN JOSE, Calif. – For the first time in San José State history, 100 percent of SJSU coaches and staff in the athletics department have become One Spartan Nation members in support of Spartan student-athletes, as a portion of the One Spartan Nation end-of-year campaign (story here).
"This is a strong message to our student-athletes and our fans that our staff and coaches are 100 percent behind the vision statement to provide a cutting-edge experience for student-athletes and promote an environment that builds champions in the classroom, in competition and in the community," said Senior Deputy Athletics Director Rob Clark. "We invite San José State alumni and friends to follow our lead and join One Spartan Nation."
Between now and Dec. 31, the department has set a goal for 250 One Spartan Nation members to gift the value of 10 tuition scholarships in support of Spartan student-athletes.
