SAN JOSE, Calif.—Former Spartan swimmer Kate Hanf returns to the San José State women's swimming and diving program as an assistant coach, as announced by head coach Sage Hopkins.
- Competed for the Spartans from 2016-20
- School record holder in the 100 IM
- Top-10 all-time at San José State in the 200 and 400 IM
- Four-time Mountain West Scholar Athlete and Academic All-MW honoree
- Three-time Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar
- Graduated in May 2020 with her degree in psychology
