SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's basketball team (4-3, 0-0 Mountain West) will head on the road to take on Pepperdine (2-8, 0-0 WCC) on Monday at 7 p.m. inside Firestone Fieldhouse in Malibu, Calif. The game will be streamed on the WCC Network and heard on the Varsity Network Mobile App.
- This is the first meeting against Pepperdine since a 83-68 home win over the Waves on December 28, 2019
- The Spartans beat North Dakota on Friday night 76-51 to go to 4-0 at home on the season. It is their first four game winning streak at home to start a season since 2013, their first four game home winning streak overall since 2016 and their first three-game winning streak under Coach Miles
- The Spartans are looking for their first four-game winning streak overall since the 2016-17 season
- On Friday, It was the Spartans first 25 or more points Division I victory since February 27, 2010 when they defeated Fresno State at home, 72-45 (h/t Rocco Miller)
- The 51 points from North Dakota was the lowest amount the Spartans have given up since December 3, 2016 when they held Santa Clara to 40 in a 55-40 win
- The Spartans 28 point lead against North Dakota was their biggest lead of the season and their 25 point win was their first double-digit win of the season. The 49 second half points were also the most the Spartans have scored in a half this season
