SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's basketball team (3-10, 0-2 Mountain West) will play back-to-back games against Fresno State (5-8, 1-1 MW) in San José on Thursday night at the Provident Credit Union Event Center and at Fresno on Saturday afternoon. Thursday's game is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. tip and Saturday's contest is set for 2 p.m. Both games will be streamed on the Mountain West Network.
- Senior Cydni Lewis leads the Spartans with an average of 12.9 points and 7.7 rebounds per game
- The Spartans come off a road loss at Colorado State on Sunday, Jan. 9
- Lewis tallied a 24 points (her 4th 20+ performance of the season) against the Rams
- Deja Ross tallied a season-high 19 points against CSU
- Ross scored double figures for the second time this season
- Haley Cavinder is the Mountain West's leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 18.5 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.
- Cavinder is third in the conference in assists
- Cavinder's twin sister Hanna is averaging 14.1 ppg, good for seventh highest in the conference
- The twins are first and second (Haley and Hanna, respectively) in the MW in minutes played
Next Home Game: The Spartans host UNLV at 6:00 p.m. on January 19 and $1 hot dogs will be available. Tickets can be purchased here.
New Covid Entry Policy:
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies

- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
