SAN JOSE, Calif. – San José State head softball coach Tammy Lohmann announced the Spartans' 2022 schedule on Thursday. SJSU will open the season with two local tournaments in Sacramento and Stanford before hosting the SCV Classic I at Spartan Softball Stadium. The Spartans will play 12 Mountain West conference games at home and will host two tournaments.

- Opening weekend is February 11-13 at the Nor Cal Kickoff tournament hosted by Sacramento State
- The Spartans first contest of the season will be against the University of Montana Grizzlies at 9:00 a.m. on Friday Feb. 11 in Sacramento
- SJSU will play Stanford on Sunday, Feb. 20 at 3:00 p.m. in its final game of the Stanford Invitational (Feb.17-20)
- Last year's conference champion Fresno State comes to town April 1, 2022 for a three-game series at Spartan Softball Stadium
- San Diego State visits April 29-May 1
- The Spartans play on the road at Cal on April 19 at 2:00 p.m. in Berkeley
- SJSU will play a home-and-home against Santa Clara February 26 at 6:00 p.m. at Spartan Softball Stadium during the SCV Classic I tournament and on the road on May 4 at 4:00 p.m.
- The regular season concludes with a three-game road series at Utah State May 12-14
