Trey Anderson had 19 points with nine boards while Omari Moore added 17 points and seven boards to lead San José State (7-10, 0-5 Mountain West) in a 70-62 loss to UNLV (11-8, 3-3 Mountain West) from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev. Saturday afternoon.
 
The Spartans cut the 14-point Rebels lead to four with less than a minute left in the second half and had the ball, but an offensive foul ended the run and SJSU came up short on the road.

 

  • Anderson was a +1 and Alvaro Cardenas was a +9 in the game
  • Trey Smith had nine while Tibet Görener added eight
  • The Spartans had 11 3-pointers on the day
  • UNLV was led by Bryce Hamilton who finished the game with 30 points
