USAF ACADEMY, Colo. – 
Ella Ogier led San José State (3-14, 0-6 Mountain West) in a 58-46 loss to Air Force (10-8, 4-3 Mountain West) inside Clune Arena at the United States Air Force Academy on Saturday afternoon. Ogier scored a team high 15 points.

 

 

  • Ogier was 6-9 shooting with six rebounds, two assists and two steals
  • Ogier recorded her fourth straight game in double figures
  • Cydni Lewis added six points and a team high eight rebounds
  • SJSU outscored the Falcons 15-11 in the third period
  • The Spartans shot 50 percent from the field and from 3-point in the third quarter
  • Air Force was 50 percent shooting in the first half

UP NEXT
The Spartans head back to Albuquerque for a rescheduled contest with the University of New Mexico January 24 at 5:30 p.m. The game will be streamed live on the Mountain West Network.

The game was originally scheduled for December 28. The contest was postponed due to COVID-19 related concerns within the San José State women's basketball program. 
 

Next Home Game: The Spartans host Utah State at 6:00 p.m. on January 27 and will honor Spartan Alumni. Tickets can be purchased here.


New COVID Entry Policy:

  • All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
    • Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
  • Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
  • Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
    • For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
    • For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
  • The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies

Mask Policy:

  • Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
