Colorado Springs, Colo.—For the 18th consecutive semester, the San José State women's swimming and diving team has been named a Scholar All-America team by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the Fall of 2021.
The 22 student-athletes posted a 3.47 grade-point average to earn the honor.
"Coach Sage Hopkins is one of the mainstays of our sport, and here is another reason why," said Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director in a release for this award. "These 22 women are some of the best ambassadors that San José State and the Mountain West could ask for."
Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the nation's first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is ot advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
