ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Roman Johnson set a new all-time program best record in the men's 60m indoor and Juliette Noyer set a new all-time program best record in the women's 600m indoor on Saturday afternoon at the New Mexico Team Open. Johnson's lifetime best of 6.66 in the 60m preliminary heat is the 32nd best time on the NCAA indoor season-best list, according to the Track and Field Results Reporting System (TFRRS).
Several runners achieved personal records (PRs) in their events at the meet.

- Johnson finished third in the 60m final in a time of 6.84 behind U.S. Olympian Cravon Gillespie and an unattached runner
- Juliette Noyer ran a lifetime best 1:36.40 in the women's 600m for a fourth-place finish and bested her old school record (1:36.88) set in January of 2020
- Lina Shubert set a PR in the women's high jump (5-07.25) which was good for fourth place
- Micah Hairston finished fifth in the 60mH final in a time of 8.08
- Sydney Bentley ran a 56.83 and finished fifth in 400m
- Kyle Jankans jumped 6-09.50 ft for 5th in the men's high jump
- Bryson Smith threw for 55-07.50 ft and was sixth in the men's weight throw event
- Grace Togiai finished seventh in the women's weight throw with a personal best of 55-05.50 ft
- James Burbank jumped 22-06.50 ft in the men's long jump to earn seventh place
- Gabby Spencer set PRs in the 200m dash (24.32) and 60m dash (7.65)
- Bashar Barksdale set a personal record in the 400m with a time of 48.97
- Paul McCants set a PR in the 60m with a time of 6.98
- Sophie Liao ran a 7.67 in the 60m dash for a new lifetime best
- Mikael Tyler ran lifetime bests in the 200 and 400m events running a 22.50 in the 200m and a 49.93 in the 400m
- The men's 4x400m relay (Harry Overstreet, Barksdale, Tyler, Hairston) ran a season best 3:19.08
