SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's basketball team (6-5, 0-0 Mountain West) will host Bethesda (3-10, 0-0 NCCAA) on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center. The game will be streamed on the Mountain West Network and heard on the Varsity Network Mobile App. Tickets for the game can be purchased here.
- SJSU is 1-0 all-time against the Lion Angels with their lone meeting coming in a 67-44 home win on Nov. 14, 2014
- This is the first non-Division I opponent for the Spartans this season
- The Spartans come off a 6-5 non-conference schedule, which is their best non-conference record since they won seven non-conference games in 2016-17 and it's the most Division I non-conference wins since they won seven in the 2011-12 season
- Prior to the Santa Clara game, SJSU had their best home start (5-0) since the 1999-2000 season when they went 6-0 at home and have won five of their last seven games overall
- SJSU's six wins are the most since the 2019-20 season and the most D1 wins for the Spartans since the 2016-17 season
- Shon Robinson had a career-best 16 points, 12 boards and three steals, plus his first career double-double in the loss to Santa Clara (12/21)

The 2022 Mountain West Basketball Tournament tips off this March in Las Vegas. New Covid Entry Policy:
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
- Only 2200 fans will be allowed to attend

- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
