• For the second consecutive week, San Jose State is ranked No. 11 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association national coaches poll
• The Spartans are seeking their first win since defeating No. 15-Pacific, 14-13 in overtime, at the Cal Cup in Berkeley, Calif.
• San Jose State hosts Cal State Monterey Bay in its home opener. The Spartans only have five home matches in 2022.
• Olga Descalzi remains San Jose State's leading scorer with 25 goals. She ranks tied for sixth nationally and second in the MPSF in goal scoring.
• Riley Agerbeek is second on the Spartans in goal scoring with 23 and ranks tied for fourth nationally with eight field blocks
• Goalkeeper Elaina Davey is one of three goalkeepers nationally with more than 100 saves this season. She has 102 to rank third nationally and is eighth with an 8.5 saves per match average.
• The third quarter has been the Spartans best quarter of the season to date. San Jose State has outscored its opponents, 40-29.
