SAN JOSE, Calif.
– Myron (MJ) Amey, Jr. had 19 points to lead San José State (7-17, 0-12 Mountain West) in a 74-52 loss to Wyoming (21-3, 10-1 Mountain West) from Provident Credit Union Event Center on Saturday night.

  • Amey, who was injured in practice on Friday, is averaging 19.3 points combined the last four games and started for only the second time this season
  • Amey also added four 3-pointers on the night
  • Majok Kuath had three 3-point plays and ended the night with a career-high 13 points and six rebounds on 5-for-7 shooting in just his second career game
  • Amey and Kuath combined for 21 of the Spartans 23 second half points
  • Omari Moore had eight points in the loss
  • SJSU shot 8-for-21 from three
  • The Spartans were ahead as late as 1:28 left in the first half and were down 33-29 at the half
  • Graham Ike led the Cowboys with 25 points
