SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State men's basketball team (7-17, 0-12 Mountain West) is heading to Reno to play Nevada (10-13, 4-8 Mountain West) on Tuesday at 8:00 p.m. from the Lawlor Events Center. The game will be seen on FS1 and heard on the Varsity Network Mobile App.
- SJSU head coach Tim Miles and Nevada head coach Steve Alford are two of only three active non-interim head coaches who have coached at six different schools
- Since returning on January 8th, the Spartans played eight games in 20 days during the month of January with four of their seven MW games being on the road
- From Jan. 18th to Feb. 6th, the Spartans were either traveling or on the road for 14 out of 20 days
- The Spartans lead the Mountain West and rank 32nd in the nation averaging 9.3 3-point makes a game
- Freshman MJ Amey has averaged 19.3 points the last four games and had his first career double-double (23 points, 12 rebounds) and start against San Diego State (2/9). Amey was named Mountain West Freshman of the Week earlier this season (1/10)
- Freshman Majok Kuath had a career-high 13 points with six boards vs. Wyoming (2/12) in only his second career game. Kuath also had three and-1's in the game
- Sophomore Omari Moore is one of only 16 Division I players to lead their teams in points (12.9), rebounds (5.3) and assists (4.7) per game
- It is only the second time since 2017 the Spartans have had seven or more wins in a season
- The Spartans went 6-5 in their Division I non-conference schedule, which is the most Division I non-conference wins since they won seven in the 2011-12 season

New Covid Entry Policy
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Faculty/Staff enter through the lower entrance, while Students enter through the South Doors across from the SRAC
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
Mask Policy
- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
