SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State women's basketball team (4-20, 1-12 Mountain West) will play its first of a two game road stretch at San Diego State (11-13, 5-8 Mountain West) Viejas Arena on Wednesday evening. Tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. and will be available to watch live on the Mountain West Network.
This is the third game of the Spartans' 4-in-8 stretch from February 12-19.

- Ella Ogier is leading the Spartans in scoring, averaging 12.2 points per game
- Cydni Lewis is leading the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.3 boards per game has 29 blocks
- Ogier has a team-best 46 steals and 55 assists
- Stephanie Torres has hit a team-high 24 3-pointers while A'Tyanna Gaulden and Deja Ross have each hit 21 3-pointers on the year
- The Spartans are coming off a home loss to Wyoming
- Lewis earned her fourth double double of the season with 16 points and 12 rebounds
- Ogier shot 6-9 from the field and 2-3 from 3-point and a perfect 5-5 from the charity stripe for a team high 19 points
- The Sparans bested the Cowgirls on the offensive glass 10-7
- The Spartans closed the end of the third quarter on a 10-0 run over 3+ minutes
- Sophia Ramos is leading the Aztecs in scoring, averaging 15.1 points per game (5th in Mountain West)
- Four San Diego State players are averaging double figures: Ramos, Asia Avinger, Mallory Adams and Mercedes Staples
- Adams is leading the Aztecs on the glass with 6.4 rpg
- Avinger is fourth in the conference in assists with 95 (3.96 apg)
NEXT UP: The Spartans close out the four game stretch at UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev. on Saturday, February 19 at 1:00 p.m. before returning home to host Air Force on Wednesday, February 23 at 11:00 a.m. for SJSU Day at the Event Center.
New Covid Entry Policy:
- All personnel with a SJSU Tower ID (students, staff and faculty) will only have to show Tower ID and ticket for entry
- Tower ID holders are within the SJSU Covid protocols
- Those without a Tower ID will be required to show proof of vaccination with their card, a photo on their phone or QR code
- Fans that are not vaccinated will be required to show proof of a negative COVID test (Age 3 and up)
- For Antigen tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 24 hours
- For PCR tests, negative result of COVID test must be within 48 hours
- The antigen test can include a take-home test, sold at Walgreens, CVS and other pharmacies
Mask Policy:
- Fans are required to wear masks indoors at all times unless actively eating or drinking
