SAN JOSE, Calif. – Micky Thompson struck out eight over five scoreless innings while Hunter Dorraugh and Omar Gastelum each went long to lead San José State (2-1, 0-0 Mountain West) in a 5-4 win over Omaha (1-2, 0-0 Summit) in game two of a doubleheader Sunday from Excite Ballpark.
- Those were the first scoreless innings in Thompson's career and a career-high in strikeouts in one outing
- Dorraugh now has two home runs on the season
- That was Gastelum's first career home run
- Brady Hill went 1.1 innings with four strikeouts for his first save of the season
- Charles McAdoo went 1-for-3 in both games and had a run in game two
- Jack Colette and Dalton Bowling each had an RBI in game two
- Omaha took game one, 15-0
