SVC Classic Program
SAN JOSÉ, Calif. – The San Jose State softball team will host the Silicon Valley Softball Classic this weekend at Spartan Softball Stadium. The Spartans will face Cal Poly (0-5, 0-0, Big West) in a double header on Friday, February 25, Santa Clara (6-6 West Coast Conference) on Saturday the 26 and Sacramento State (3-6, 0-0 Big Sky) and Saint Mary's (4-7, 0-0 West Coast Conference) on Sunday, February 27. San Jose State bested Sacramento State and Santa Clara earlier this year at the NorCal Kickoff and lost to Saint Mary's in a nine inning showdown on February 13.
The Spartans' games on Saturday and Sunday will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network. The SVC Classic will be the Spartans' home opener.

- Jillian Figueroa leads the team in batting average, hitting .389 on the season with six RBI's
- Jenessa Ullegue is 3-0 and holds a .58 ERA
- The Spartans have the third lowest ERA in the Mountain West at 2.10
- SJSU is 3-0 all-time against Cal Poly with their last win coming in 2020 when the Spartans defeated the Mustangs 3-1
NEXT UP: The Spartans will travel to Phoenix, Arizona to participate in the Grand Canyon University Invitational. They will face Binghamton University, Grand Canyon University and the University of Montana.
