SAN JOSE, Calif. - Robert Hamchuk went 3-for-5 and drove in a team-best three runs, while Hunter Dorraugh finished 2-for-4 with his team-leading fifth home run to lead San José State (4-2) in a 15-6 loss to Portland (5-0) on Friday at Excite Ballpark. The Pilots had a pair of five-run innings in the third and sixth innings to create separation and outhit the Spartans, 13-9.
After giving up two runs in the top of the first inning, the Spartans rallied for three runs in the second, highlighted by a RBI double by Dalton Bowling and a two-RBI single by Hamchuck to give SJSU the lead, 3-2. The Pilots responded with a five-run third inning, courtesy of four walks and two with the bases loaded as the Pilots took a 7-4 lead and never looked back.

- Charles McAdoo extended his hitting streak to six games, going 1-for-4 with a walk
