SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - Alyssa Graham led the San José State softball team (7-5, 0-0 Mountain West) en route to a 12-4 six inning mercy rule win over Santa Clara (7-9, 0-0 West Coast Conference) on Saturday night of the SVC Classic I at Spartan Softball Stadium. Graham went 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs in the victory.

- The Spartans' 12 runs came off 12 hits, 11 RBIs, two Broncos errors and five walked batters
- SJSU's eight run 6th inning effort is the most runs in a single inning this season
- Graham's home run is her second of the weekend and second this season
- Ashley Rico and Ashley Goard each went 2-for-4 with three RBIs
- Trenity Edwards went 2-for-3 with an RBI
- Jenessa Ullegue (4-0) got the win in the circle
- Caroline Bowman (0-2) started the game on the mound and gave up four runs on four hits and two errors in 1.1 IP
- Ullegue threw 4.2 innings and allowed just two hits and no runs with three strikeouts
- The Spartan pitching staff did not walk a single batter
- SJSU remains undefeated at home in 2022
