SJSU's Dorraugh Earns Mountain West Player of the Week

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - San José State's Hunter Dorraugh was named Mountain West Player of the Week, announced by the league office on Monday. Dorraugh, a sophomore transfer from Sacramento State, earns the distinction for the first time after homering in six consecutive games and ranks third in the country with seven on the season.

  • He tallied four home runs and an impressive 1.200 slugging percentage
  • Drove in nine runs and crossed the plate seven times
  • Went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in the fifth inning to lead SJSU to a 4-3 win over Portland (6-1) in the series finale
  • Dorraugh is riding a seven-game hitting streak and leads the Mountain West in home runs (7), slugging pct. (1,214), on-base pct. (.526), runs scored (15), RBI (14), total bases (34) and HBP (4)
