SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (5-3) hosts University of San Francisco (5-3) for a lone game at Excite Ballpark on Tuesday. The game is set for 3:05 p.m. and can be seen on the Mountain West Network.
- Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh has hit home runs in six straight games and is third in the nation with seven overall. Dorraugh is hitting .357 with a team leading 1.214 slugging percentage and 14 RBIs while on a seven-game hitting streak and earned his first ever Mountain West Player of the Week honors (2/28) and leads the MW in seven offensive categories (story)
- Sophomore Charles McAdoo has a .344 batting average to go along with one grand slam, eight RBIs, 11 hits and eight runs
- Freshman Makana Olaso went 3-for-4 with his first career home run and two RBIs in his debut against Northern Colorado (2/22)
- Redshirt sophomore Robert Hamchuk has a hit in five straight games and leads the team with a .400 batting average. Hamchuk has two leadoff home runs this season to go along with a team leading 14 hits
- Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling has a double in three straight games
