FULLERTON, Calif.—Alba Pedrero Galindo won a third-set tiebreaker to give the San José State women's tennis team a 4-3 win Friday afternoon in a dual match at Cal State Fullerton.

- The dual took over three hours to play and came down to the number-two singles match between Pedrero Galindo and Eira Tobrand.
- Fullerton won the doubles point which meant the Spartans had to win four singles matches.
- Irena Muradyan scored the first singles point of the match, and Oleksandra Andrieieva needed three sets to put the Spartans up 2-1.
- After Fullerton tied the match at 2-2, Rozalina Youseva won in straight sets to give SJSU the 3-2 lead.
- Pedrero Galindo needed three sets and a tiebreaker to win and give SJSU the win. She won on her sixth match point of the day.
San José State improves to 2-0 on the season at plays at CSUN this Sunday beginning at 11 a.m.
