San Jose, Calif.—After record-breaking performances on Sunday by the Spartan team, San José State women's gymnasts Lauren Macpherson and Emma Milne were named the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Gymnast and Specialist of the Week, respectively.

- Won her first all-around title with a career-best 39.325 Sunday at UC Davis
- Tied for the eighth-highest all-around score in school history
- Tied her career high on vault with a 9.800
- Tied for second on beam with a 9.875
- Third on floor with a career-high 9.875
Emma Milne, Jr., Barrie, Ontario
- Tied her own school record on beam with a 9.925 to win the event
- Tied the MPSF beam record with 9 other gymnasts but is the only one to do it 3 times
- Also set the MPSF team score on beam
- Tied for first on bars with a season-high 9.850
Both were part of the Spartan beam team to set a school-record with a 49.300, breaking the record of 49.275 that was set in 2011 and 2018.
The Spartan team broke the 196.000 barrier for the first time in school history with a 196.550 team score to set the school record and record the second-highest MPSF team score.
San José State returns home this Friday, February 11, with a meet against Air Force beginning at 7 p.m., inside the Provident Credit Union Event Center.
