The San José State women's tennis team is back in action on Wednesday with a non-conference match at Saint Mary's beginning at 1 p.m. The match will be played at the Timothy Korth Tennis Complex in Moraga.
- San José State enters the day with a 3-5 dual record, while Saint Mary's is 4-6 on the season.
- Rozalina Youseva brings a 12-1 overall singles record into the weekend including a 6-1 record in dual competition. Alba Pedrero Galindo is 14-6 in singles this year
- The two teams played singles at the SJSU/SCU Hidden Duals this past November where San José State won four of the six singles matches.
- Last year, the teams met at the Spartan Tennis Complex. The Spartans had to win four singles matches for the 4-3 victory. Youseva won in three sets, 0-6, 6-4, 6-3, to clinch the win for San José State.
- SJSU last competed at San Francisco on March 4 when the team lost 4-2 to the Dons.
San José State returns home next week for a non-conference contest against UC San Diego on Tuesday, March 22, beginning at noon at the Spartan Tennis Complex.
