SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (9-8, 2-4 Mountain West) hosts Mountain West rival San Diego State (4-12, 0-3 Mountain West) for a three-game series starting on Friday at 6:05 p.m. at Excite Ballpark.
- Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting .458 in conference play with two home runs and six RBIs in six games. McAdoo is on a nine game hitting streak, he's been on base every game this season and leads the team with a .394 batting average
- Redshirt sophomore Robert Hamchuk has three leadoff home runs this season and four overall. He is hitting .333 which is good for third on the team
- Redshirt junior Jack Colette hit his first home run of the season in the series at Nevada. Colette also batted in five with three hits against the Wolf Pack
- Redshirt junior Danny Zimmerman hit his first two home runs of the season against the Wolf Pack which included four hits, two doubles and four RBIs overall
- Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling had five hits, two doubles and three RBIs against the Wolf Pack. Bowling has a hit in six straight games
Next Game: The Spartans head out on the road for a Tuesday game at local rival Santa Clara on March 22 at 6 p.m.
