SAN JOSÉ, Calif. - Ten Spartans received Mountain West Indoor Track & Field All-Conference selections for the 2022 season, the conference announced on Tuesday. The 2022 Indoor Track & Field All-Conference team is composed of the top three finishers in each individual event and the top three relay teams in each event at the MW championships. - The San José State men's squad finished fifth overall and the women took seventh
- Roman Johnson won the individual men's 60m dash in a time of 6.77
- Paul McCants took the silver in the men's 60m with a PR of 6.89
- Kyle Jankans and Mahkaia Lee took home second place and set personal bests in the men's high jump (2.14m) and women's long jump (6.26m), respectively. Lee's jump was also a SJSU program record.
- Gabby Spencer finished third in the women's 200m dash in a PR time of 23.80, breaking a school record she set just two weeks ago at the Don Kirby Elite Invitational
- Bryson Smith earned third in the men's weight throw in a lifetime best throw of 18.60m
