TUCSON, Ariz.—Natasha Andrea Oon and Louisa Carlbom each shot a four-68 to help the eighth-ranked San Jose State women's golf team shoot a school-record 13-under 275 to take a two-shot lead after the second round of the MountainView Collegiate.

- Oon is in a three-way tie for first place at nine-under 135. She made five birdies during her round and had a clean round until she bogeyed the final hole.
- Carlbom made four birdies and an eagle on the par-four sixth hole and jumped up to a tie for 24th at two-under 142.
- Lucia Lopez Ortega shot a three-under 69 and tied for fourth at seven-under 137. She had four birdies and one bogey for her round.
- Antonia Malate is now tied for 15th at three-under 141 after shooting a one-over 73 on Saturday.
- Kajsa Arwefjäll made six birdies and shot a two=under 70 and is tied for 34th at even-par 144.
- The Spartans tied the school record for the lowest single round with the 13-under 275. The 2015-16 team recorded a 275 in the first and second rounds of the 2015 Las Vegas Collegiate.
Third round action begins Sunday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start. The Spartans will play with Oklahoma State and Texas Tech.
