SAN JOSE, Calif. - The San José State baseball team (11-7, 5-4 Mountain West) heads to Santa Clara (11-7, 2-1 WCC) for a lone game Tuesday night at 6:00 p.m. from Schott Stadium. 

  • The Spartans come off sweeping San Diego State in a series for the first time since 1999 and it's their first time winning a series against San Diego State since joining the Mountain West Conference
  • Sophomore Charles McAdoo is hitting .371 in conference play with two home runs and eight RBIs in nine games. McAdoo has a hit in 18 of the Spartans 20 games this season and has been on base in every game. He leads the team with a .364 batting average
  • Redshirt sophomore Hunter Dorraugh hit .455 against San Diego State with five hits, two singles, a double, a triple and a home run and slugged 1.000 to be named MW player of the week for the second time this season (story). He also had four RBIs and scored five runs. Dorraugh is tied for 16th in the nation and leads the MW with eight home runs
  • Redshirt sophomore Dalton Bowling had two home runs, three hits and six RBIs in the doubleheader against San Diego State on Sunday. Those were his first home runs of the season
  • Redshirt sophomore Brady Hill had two saves over the weekend sweep for seven on the season which leads the MW and good for third in the nation
  • Redshirt junior Jonathan Clark threw 5.0 innings of three hit ball while giving up no earned runs and striking out six on Friday night
  • Sophomore Theo Hardy tied the SJSU record with two triples in the second game of the series against SDSU
